Well planned and executed adventure

31st October 2023

Just returned from an absolutely amazing trip down the Zambezi with Water By Nature. It was, as always, well planned and executed by Water By Nature. A huge thanks to the crew, Lovemore, Gideon and Kevias who made us feel safe all the way. They know the river like the back of their hand, they master culinary miracles in the wild, and are just fantastic people to hang out with. Continued to Botswana for the safari and was again met with only wonderful people who really makes an effort to make our stay perfect. Such great people who takes great pride in their job and their culture.

This is my 7th trip with Water By Nature, and I have nothing but praise to Water By Nature for creating the best conditions for adventure.

Absolutely Amazing from Beginning to End

23rd October 2023

A fortnight after my return, I’m still trying to process the amazing experience I had on this trip. Within minutes of meeting the guides, you knew you were in completely safe hands (& when I went for an unscheduled swim that confidence was confirmed) & not only were they totally competent, they were so friendly, engaging & accommodating.

The food provided whilst rafting is absolutely outstanding and is all freshly prepared; I’m still reeling from the lasagne & chocolate cake that was cooked in the middle of nowhere.

The rafting experience gives you not only the thrills of the rapids during the day but the awe of the constellations, including the Milky Way, that can be seen in the night sky thanks to there being no light pollution.

And if that wasn’t enough the time spent in the Safari was simply the icing on top of the cake.

I am in no way an outdoorsy sort of person, and if I’m honest never did I think I’d go white water rafting, let alone going down the Zambezi. But I can honestly say this week has changed me and will be hard, if impossible, to top.

Adventure of a Lifetime

29th May 2023

A rafting safari was number one on my bucket list trips and WBN executed it flawlessly. Just an amazing, life altering adventure. From canoeing the upper Zambezi to rafting the lower Zambezi and the land safari after, I don’t think anyone can experience the Zambezi and Africa in this manner and not come back forever changed for the better. Hard to put into words. Hamish McMaster and his WBN crew were extraordinary guides. Every aspect of the trip was above and beyond wildest expectations. If you love whitewater, nature, animals and adventure I can’t image anything to rival this journey. Have two new WBN trips planned for this year and I have no doubt Hamish and WBN will make them unforgettable.
