Overview

This world class river adventure winds through lush alpine forests, narrow canyons, high desert plateau and sky scraping ‘hoodoos’ (tall, thin spires of rock). Concluding 3000 vertical feet lower and one week later on the mighty Fraser River, the lifeblood of Canada’s largest river system. The route runs through ‘Lava, ‘Big John’ and Farewell canyons and includes the longest stretch of commercially navigable water in North America. Your adventure starts and finishes in Vancouver where you’ll stay in the gorgeous Granville Island Hotel. You’ll take a spectacular flight through the Rockies before arriving in paradise at Chilko Lake. This is one of those unforgettable adventures. We also offer another trip in Canada to the Magpie in Quebec.
