Arrive into Split where your skipper will meet you and accompany you to your hotel in the picturesque old town of Trogir. We meet for a meal in one of the many excellent restaurants where your skipper will give you a run down on the next few days of your trip.

Included: Dinner

After breakfast, we head to the marina where you’ll board your yacht and the skipper will give you a full safety briefing. After a short sail, we reach the fantastic bay of Krknjaši on Drvenik Veli island.  Have a swim and enjoy lunch in the azure waters. The afternoon sees us sail the short distance to Solta where we anchor in a picture perfect bay before enjoying local delicacies at a nearby restaurant.

All meals included

Take a dive off the yacht for a wake up swim while the skipper prepares breakfast and freshly brewed coffee. Our planned destination for tonight is Starigrad, on the island of Hvar. Situated in a sheltered harbour, we  moor up and give you time to explore this historic town, one of Croatia’s oldest dating back to 385 BC. At night we enjoy one of the many seaside restaurants on offer.

All meals included

After a relaxed start to the day, we sail towards Otok Scedro, a remote island. Here if we are lucky, the local wine and olive oil producer will pop over for an on board tasting. Alternatively, have a swim or take the dinghy into shore for a short hike while your meal is prepared.

All meals included

Our hosts deliver freshly baked croissants and pastries direct to the yacht! Today our destination is the fascinating island of Vis, which until 1989 was entirely closed to tourism as it served as a Yugoslav military base. This ancient city delights history lovers, while fans of Mamma Mia may recognise it as one of the movie locations. You can watch the film in an outdoor theatre most evenings. Tuck into delicious local seafood or lamb but leave room for delicious ice cream from a hugely popular gelato shop.

All meals included

After breakfast at a seafont cafe, we sail from Vis to Solta for a relaxed day. It can be a wonderful place to take a swim in the middle of the calm clear seas, an experience many of our guests list as one of their highlights. Enjoy your last full day sailing. Dinner tonight on board the yacht.

All meals included

We depart our mooring off the island of Solta and have breakfast en route back to Trogir. Here once we say farewell to our yacht, we transfer by road to Dubrovnik and a look around this wonderful city. A spectacular meal out in one of the best restaurants in the city. Overnight in our old town hotel.

All meals included

This morning we take a morning paddle in Dubrovnik across to Loksum Island and back in time for breakfast.

The afternoon is yours to explore this magical city from the spectacular views from the gondola, to a walk around the ancient city walls. Overnight Dubrovnik.

No Meals Included

Depart Dubrovnik for your flight home, airport transfer included. (If you wish to extend your trip, we offer extensions to Montenegro and Balkans. Contact us for details)

No Meals Included

If you choose to continue your Balkan adventure, today we have an early start as we drive to neighbouring Montenegro and the beautiful Tara River with almost unbelievable blue water. Enjoy breakfast before we head out on the river for several hours of easy rafting, including a riverside bar stop for refreshments. A hearty late lunch awaits us on our return. Relax in the rustic river side camp and enjoy reliving the rapids over a light dinner.

All meals included

After breakfast, we drive to Kotor Old Town, situated at the head of the spectacular Kotor Bay. Explore one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean including its fortified walls and fortress. Get lost in the cobbled streets of this UNESCO World Heritage site, before we take you to a secret location for sunset drinks and canapes to take in a jaw-dropping view of the bay. Return to Kotor for dinner and your old town hotel.

Breakfast, sunset drinks and dinner included

After breakfast at your hotel, we take in a high speed boat cruise exploring Boka Bay taking in the Lady of the Rocks church and museum, see Perast and Mamula island from the water, swim in the dazzling blue cave before getting dropped at Rose Beach, a hidden gem with beautifully clear waters. The day is yours to relax, swim, top up your tan or have a long lazy lunch. You’ll be picked up late afternoon and returned to Kotor, where we will enjoy a final meal together.

So Much More Than I Expected!!

22nd August 2022

Water By Nature once again provided my partner and I a trip of a lifetime. The Croatia/Montenegro sailing and rafting trip was the prefect blend of adventure and relaxation, open water and charming port cities, world class meals and cozy cafes. Our crew was fun and safety minded, making a sailing/rafting trip enjoyable. We were immersed in the culture with a very impressive itinerary that also accommodated for kicking back and soaking it all in. I’d love to go back.. if only WBN did not have so many other tempting trips.

Sea, Sun And Incredible Food

18th August 2022

We have been traveling with WBN for a few years now and keep coming back for more. The trips are always beautifully orchestrated and no detail is left to chance. Croatia didn’t disappoint, neither in scenery, sailing or it’s people. The sailing was amazing and being able to swim in the middle of the Adriatic was exhilarating. Each port was unique unto itself, as was sleeping on deck underneath beautiful starry skies. One unexpected aspect of the trip was how absolutely wonderful the food was. Whether we had seafood, regional dishes or something else, the food was masterfully prepared and delicious. We had multiple Michelin Star prepared meals in addition to grilling off the back of the sailboat or taking the dingy inshore for a local treat, which is not to be missed!! The second most unexpected aspect of the trip was the diversion to Montenegro. We knew what we were expecting from the landscape in Croatia but didn’t really have any idea about Montenegro‘s wild natural beauty. Lake Piva and the Tara River were absolutely stunning as was the extra day that we added to hike the mountains. We recommend this beautiful diversion if you’re remotely interested. It was amazing and our guide was the first Montenegran to summit Mount Everest!! Talk about a way to see things!!! We can’t say enough about WBN and their attention to detail. We have already booked our next adventure for New Zealand 2024. Our continued loyalty to WBN says it all!!! Thanks Hamish for always making it a memorable trip!!

Yo Ho Yo Ho A Sailor's Life for me.

9th August 2022

I had a great fun time on my recent Croatia Sailing trip with Water By Nature. Sailing was both relaxing and invigorating as we explored the beautiful clear blue warm waters of the Dalmatian Coast, the lovely island towns, and the secluded tranquil coves. I had little prior sailing experience but really enjoyed life on the water. Swimming off the boat in the middle of the ocean was really fun. And sailing in the wind and salt spray was exciting. The food was amazing. Rafting the beautiful blue Tara River in Montenegro was a really nice complement to sailing. In fact, I would suggest spending even more time exploring in the mountains of Montenegro. And a really nice ending was exploring the beautiful photogenic old town of Dubrovnik. Life on the water with Water By Nature!
