What do you love most about multi-day trips?

I enjoy the overnight trips when you get more time with your clients and get to know more about everyone.

When did you start working for Water By Nature?

I started leading trips for Water by Nature 3 years ago and  hope to doing more trips for them.

Your best river meal you like to prepare?

There are two my favourites (Peruvian night on the river)

  •  Lomo saltado
  • Aji de Gallina with pisco sours!

 Favourite Rapid?

There are so many rapids that I love but of course there is always a favourite.

Cotahuasi – Marpas mile

Apurimac – Toothache and Babaluba

 Most important piece of equipment you take on every adventure?

My personal equipment, the wrap kit for the Cotahuasi and of course the hand blender to make great smoothies and Pisco Sours on the river!

Biggest achievement to date?

When the clients get off the river and they love the place we have just taken them.

What do you do when you are not on the river?

I try to spend most of my free time with my family and my son.

Favourite band?

I like all sorts of music

Best River story?

Well I have a lot, but my favourite is when I took Ed Sheeran on the Apurimac rafting trip.

Favourite rafting trips?

Cotahuasi River and the Apurimac river.

Anywhere still on the rafting ‘bucket list’?

Of course there are so many places for rafting,  but  the one that I will love to go will be the Zambezi river. I have to keep working on Oscar and Hamish!
