What do you love most about multi-day trips?

I love multi-day trips because you get to spend time in beautiful canyons and landscapes camping along the river as well as forming more personal relationships with guests and fellow guides.

When did you start working for Water By Nature?

July 2017 on the Zambezi. Pretty awesome place to spend my first season!

Your best river meal you like to prepare?

Charcoal grilled pork tenderloins with mash potatoes and greens

Favourite Rapid?

Stairway to Heaven on the Zambezi

Most important piece of equipment you take on every adventure?

My PFD which also is like my utility belt with all sorts of tools for anything we might need on the river.

Biggest achievement to date?

Being a trip leader on the Mighty Zambezi and guiding the notorious Gore Canyon in Colorado.

What do you do when you are not on the river?

I love to backcountry ski and mountain bike when I am not on the river

Zambezi 4 day, Grand Canyon, Perth in NZ.

Anywhere still on the rafting ‘bucket list’?

Cotahuasi, Karnali, Apurimac, Tamur, Futaleufú, Franklin, Cherry Creek. I guess I am working for the right company!

I was born and raised near the Detroit River and I love to watch and play Ice Hockey.
