Sophie is 100% energy on the river and in camp. She loves her job and makes sure everybody who joins her has the best time they can! She has been guiding since she was 15 years old in New Zealand, Australia, The Zambezi, Morocco and Switzerland and will give you huge confidence in her at the back of your raft. She is a logistics guru and will make sure all of the plans for your trip are perfectly executed. She loves to travel and speaks Berber and some Pigin from her travels to Morocco and Papua New Guinea respectively.

"The Zambezi. It has a name that evokes adventure and ever since I have run rivers, I have always wanted to visit this incredible destination. With its mix of big warm water, awesome sandy beaches and great fun people who come here to raft, have made it my favourite trip of all Water By Natures departures. In 2007, we took a group who had fund raised for a charity and seeing blind folks tackle this incredible river was a humbling experience. Can't wait to head back there this year for some more fun in the sun!"

"Morocco was everything I expected and more in my first season out there in 2007. Shopping for the trips in the madness that are the Marrakech markets and souqs, was incredible. After learning some Berber, I got to know the culture and people much better. Water By Nature's trips on the Ahanssel River visit a part of the country that is unique and VERY spectacular. The scenery on the last day of the river trip is as nice as I have seen anywhere. Working grain mills en route down the river, Kasbahs to walk to, just make the trip even more special."
